Milton School Damaged, Vandalized

A Milton school has been damaged following a break-in and Halton police are asking the public to identify the suspects.
Officers were sent to the school on Aug. 14 at 7 p.m.

Officers were sent to the school on Aug. 14 at 7 p.m.
That’s when a passerby noticed an open door at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School at 709 Bolingbroke Dr.

Officers found signs of forced entry to a portable and damage to the contents inside.
The exact date and time of the entry is unknown.
Vulgar graffiti was found, in addition to blood.
Investigators say the perpetrator was likely cut while entering through the broken window of the door.
It’s the second time this month police have been sent to the school.
On Aug. 5 they were also investigating damage and graffiti which had been written on the outside of the same portable.
The graffiti in both incidents appears to be similar, say police.
The exact cost to repair the damage to the school is unknown at this time but is estimated to be more than $5,000.
Police are asking for the public’s help and say someone linked to the break in should have a recent cut to their hand or arm.
