Right in time for summer patio vibes, a Middle Eastern restaurant has opened for outdoor dining in Mississauga.

Bait Sitty restaurant, operated by the husband-and-wife team of executive chef Alaa Damaa and sous-chef Lama Daama, has opened its patio at 3145 Dundas St. W., Unit 1 in Mississauga. The Daamas have over 20 years’ worth of food industry experience making authentic Middle Eastern cuisine from recipes passed along through generations of their Palestinian families.

The restaurant’s name translates to “Grandma’s House” in Arabic.

Bait Sitty, in addition to the fare of dips, salata (salad), plates and sandwiches, offers several signature dishes. They offer two entrees with Mediterranean sea bass, as well as castaleta, which is made with Ontario lamb chops seasoned with rosemary.

On the beverage side, the restaurant also serves eight variieties of shakes.

Bait Sitty also boasts a breakfast menu, and is taking reservations for Saturday and Sunday brunch specials on its shaded patio.

The restaurant can be followed on Instagram @baitsittyrestaurant. Reservations can be made at 647-400-0488.
