McDonald's unveils its own line of Crocs

An unlikely collaboration between two well-known brands is about to hit Canada’s fashion scene.

On Monday, McDonald’s announced that they’ve teamed up with Crocs to release a full line of shoes, socks and charms in Canada and over 30 other countries around the world.

Available starting Nov. 14, the limited-edition Crocs are inspired by McDonald’s characters Grimace, Birdie and Hamburglar. The line also includes Jibbitz brand shoe charms based on McDonald’s menu items — such as a Big Mac, fries, and milkshake — to decorate your Crocs with.

To celebrate the new collaboration, McDonald’s has pledged a monetary donation via Ronald McDonald House Charities to help support families with sick children.

“We are so excited to be partnering with Crocs – a brand that truly leads culture – on our first-ever global shoe collab inspired by our beloved McDonaldland characters while supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s Canada.

The new Crocs will be available to purchase at crocs.ca, at Crocs store locations and some wholesale stores starting Tuesday, Nov. 14.
