May 9 Weather: Cooler temperatures ahead for Southern Ontario

It’ll be a mix of sun and clouds for Mississauga and the rest of southern Ontario on Thursday.

The sun will rise at 6:01 a.m. and residents will wake up to light winds, northeast at 20 km/h before becoming southeast at 20 km/h later in the morning, according to the weather forecast by Environment Canada.

Thursday’s high will reach 14 C during the day, with a UV index of 7 or higher.

Thursday evening will be cloudy, with winds becoming northeast at 20 km/h and then gusting to 40 km/h near midnight before they die down heading into the early morning hours.

The low will be 8 C, with the sun setting at 8:30 p.m.
