Massive power outage affecting over 27,000 homes and businesses in Hamilton

A power outage is affecting much of Hamilton this afternoon.
Alectra Utilities is reporting a widespread outage affecting approximately 27,681 customers in Hamilton, including Stoney Creek and Waterdown.
The cause of the outage is weather-related.
Crews have been dispatched to make repairs and power is estimated to return by 7:00 p.m.
UPDATE:
There is presently a power outage in the Pritchard Road to Tenth Road East from Ridge Road to Golf Club Road of Hamilton affecting 625 customers. ETR for this area is 11PM.
