Just when the GTA thought was out of winter, late March flurries pulled them back in.
Good Friday is set to be a somewhat cold day starting a -2 at 6 a.m, according to Pearson Airport sensors. At that time, a 30 per cent chance of snow will begin and persist throughout the day.
Temperatures will bottom out at -3 degrees around 8 a.m. but steadily rise thereafter. By five p.m. it will be closer to 7 degrees. As things warm up, the flurries may change to showers in the afternoon starting around 2 p.m.
By 6 p.m. temperatures will begin to fall a bit, but the precipitation will stop, leading into a partly cloudy evening.
Saturday looks a little brighter set to be largely sunny with a few flurries in the evening. Easter Sunday will again see sunny skies with the temperatures hitting 9 degrees.
On Easter Monday (April 1) skies will remain clear and the GTA will hit 10 degrees.
