Man wins lottery for the third time in Ontario

Nadim Faza is very lucky when it comes to the lottery.

The Richmond Hill resident just claimed his third huge prize.

The 72-year-old engineer first won $159,000 playing Lotto 6/49 in 2004 and then in 2022, won $1 million in a Lotto 6/49 gold ball draw.

Now, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced that Faza won a second prize worth $50,000 in the Nov. 1 draw of Ontario 49.

“I checked my ticket on OLG.ca and the first thing I did was wake up my wife and daughter to share the news. I couldn’t believe it,” Faza said.

“I was over the moon.”

He said he plans to share his winnings with his children and is hoping to go on a vacation somewhere warm.

“This is great timing as Christmas is here and I can spend it on my grandchildren,” he added.
