lottery jackpot lotto max still unclaimed ontario

It has been more than a month since a major Lotto Max jackpot was won in Ontario, but the prize remains unclaimed.

On Tuesday, Oct. 28, one Ontario ticket matched seven out of seven numbers to take home the $40 million jackpot.

Tony Bitonti from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation told INsauga.com that ticket was sold somewhere in Grey County in southern Ontario.

Grey County includes the municipalities of Owen Sound and The Blue Mountains, among others.

“Surprisingly there has been no action on this ticket,” Bitonti said, meaning it hasn’t been scanned with the OLG app or at a retailer.

Someone may be out there unaware that they’ve been sitting on a $40 million windfall for more than month.

According to the OLG website, these were the winning numbers for the Oct. 28 Lotto Max draw: 06 14 17 19 26 43 45 Bonus 27.

Players have one year from the draw date to claim their prize.

Meanwhile, since the Oct. 28 draw, the Lotto Max jackpot hasn’t been won. It now sits at its highest level in months, with Tuesday’s draw offering an estimated $65 million jackpot and eight $1 million maxmillion prizes.
