Man seen carrying large gun in Brampton plaza, police investigating

Officers are investigating a weapon-related incident in Brampton today (July 11).
Police were called at 11:39 a.m. for a black SUV seen driving through a plaza parking lot at Bramalea and Mayfield Rd.
It’s reported that a male in his 20s was hanging out of one of the windows and holding a large gun.
Officers have searched the area but the vehicle had already fled the scene. There is no suspect or vehicle description at this time.
No injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
