UPDATE: Man pronounced dead in hit-and-run in Hamilton

One person is dead following a recent hit-and-run collision in Hamilton.

The incident took place Friday morning (Apr. 8) at Upper Wentworth St on the Hamilton mountain.

The pedestrian, a 42 year old man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed on Saturday that the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as Hamilton man Glen Harison Clark.

“The vehicle involved has been identified and located by investigators,” said police.

This is the city’s 9th traffic fatality of 2022, and the 8th involving a pedestrian.

The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have yet to speak with police are asked to call 905-546-4753.
