Man in critical condition following a two-vehicle collision in Brock Township

Durham Regional Police Service are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Brock Township that left a 25-year-old man in critical condition.
On Saturday (Apr. 22) at approximately 11:00 a.m., police responded to a head-on collision between two vehicles on Lake Ridge Rd near Hwy 48 in Brock Township.
Police say a black four-door Hyundai was travelling northbound on Lake Ridge Rd when he crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a black Ford SUV.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a Toronto-area hospital where he remains in critical condition, officers say.
According to investigators, two occupants from the SUV were also treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and have since been released.
Police believe alcohol and/or drugs may have been a factor in the crash.

DRPS attended the scene and closed off the roads for several hours while evidence was collected.
