Man charged with attempted murder after shooting in Mississauga

Police have laid charges following a recent shooting in Mississauga.

On Saturday, Nov. 13, police say the victim was struck by a bullet and attended a local hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

“Investigators were able to determine that the victim was shot at a residence in Mississauga,” said police.

A search was conducted at the residence on Nov. 18, where the suspect was located.

36 year old Mississauga man Christopher Spencer was arrested. He’s charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and discharging a firearm with intent.

Spencer appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing on Friday, Nov. 19.
