A jewellry store at Bramalea City Centre in Brampton fell victim to a second robbery within a month.

On Friday (Dec. 8) around 8 p.m., Peel Regional Police were called to a theft-in-progress at the White Carat Co. Diamonds store located at 25 Peel Centre Dr.

Police informed insauga.com that upon arrival, they discovered significant damages to the glass display cases where jewellry was showcased.

According to investigators three suspects were reportedly seen inside the store during the incident, with a fourth accomplice believed to be waiting outside in a vehicle.

The exact number of victims inside the jewellry store during the robbery remain unclear, however, police say no injuries were reported.

Officers confirmed with insauga.com that a hammer-like weapon was seen in the recent robbery, reminiscent of the incident just 30 days earlier on Nov.8, where hammers were used to smash display cases inside the jewellry store, allowing suspects to grab merchandise and flee.

Authorities are currently investigating the value of the stolen merchandise and assessing the physical damages to the store.

The make, color, or license plate of the vehicle driven by one of the suspects is unavailable at this time.

Police indicate that the culprits remain at large, with no public release of surveillance images or descriptions for the four outstanding suspects.

Investigators are still in the process of confirming whether this incident is linked to the robbery that occurred on Nov. 8.

More information to follow as it becomes available.
