Male taken to hospital after shooting in Mississauga

Officers are investigating a shooting in Mississauga this evening.

Police were called at 6:42 p.m. for the incident, which happened at Mavis and Britannia Road.

One male victim was taken to hospital with unknown injuries

There is no suspect description at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE: The victim is in a trauma centre in critical condition.
