Major Intersection Closed Due to Four-Vehicle Collision

Peel Regional Police are on scene at at four-vehicle collision that has shut down an intersection in Mississauga.

Police reported at 10:38 p.m. that there had been a collision at Mavis and Winterton involving four vehicles.

One vehicle struck a pole while another hit a fence. The driver who hit the fence has fled the scene.

No injuries have been reported.

Mavis is currently closed from Winterton to Eglinton.

Drivers are asked to use alternate routes.
