A major grocery store chain is planning to build a new location that it says is aimed at serving multiple Ontario municipalities.
Asian grocery retailer T&T Supermarket Inc. said that it will be opening a second location in Mississauga — with this one located at 3055 Vega Boulevard, which is in the Highway 403 and Dundas Street area, near the border with Oakville.
There is currently one T&T store in Mississauga at Grand Park Drive and Central Parkway West.
“We’ve been looking to serve the Oakville community for a while now, and we have finally found a great location that will do that and more,” said T&T Supermarket CEO Tina Lee.
“Right now, we have customers on the west end driving over 30 minutes to shop at our T&T at Central Parkway. With this new T&T, we’ll be able to serve not only Oakville, but also Milton, Burlington and beyond.”
But it will take some time before the store opens its doors.
The tentative opening is scheduled for the Summer of 2026.

“This is a ground up build, so it’ll take us a bit longer to get the store ready,” Lee said.
The store will be 40,000 square feet and will create 120 jobs.
“This location will offer the full range of T&T’s assortment, including Asian snacks, fresh produce, live seafood, bakery items, skincare products, gifts, and in-store prepared foods,” the company said.
T&T is headquartered in Richmond, B.C. and has stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Washington.
