Southern Ontario is seeing a major drop in gas prices.
It was initially projected that much of the region would see a three-cent drop for a regular litre on Wednesday, but affordableenergy.ca now indicates that it actually dropped by seven cents.
That brought the price to $1.589 for a regular litre in much of southern Ontario.
Premium also fell by seven cents to $1.889 in most places.
And now, prices are projected to fall further come Thursday.
Regular will fall by another three cents in most places, bringing it to $1.559 per litre.
Overall, that means regular will have dropped by 10 cents in just two days.
Premium is expected to fall by another three cents to $1.859.
And diesel will see a two- or three-cent drop by Thursday to $1.759, after already falling six or seven cents on Wednesday, depending on the area.
