Here’s a chance for Burlington residents to put their artistic stamp on the city.

The City is looking for proposals from local artists to design vinyl wraps for traffic control boxes located throughout Burlington.

Six artists will be commissioned by the Local Artist Program to create a unique design that will produce one to two utility box vinyl wraps and help make Burlington “even more beautiful.”

City staff will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of the vinyl wraps later this year.

The artists will be able to reformat existing artwork or create new artwork for the project.

The successful artists will be required to submit a high-resolution digital file of their artwork concept (assistance is available upon request).

Applications are open until May 13.

All artwork files must be provided to the City of Burlington in a high- resolution digital format suitable for printing.  Assistance will be provided to those requiring help transferring their artwork into a digital format.

Applicants must be a resident of Burlington.

To apply, go to online applications.

Contact Kim Selman at 905-515-9334 or email her at [email protected] if you need assistance using the online application system.
