Repairs to the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge are scheduled to take place next week so motorists should brace for potential delays.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) issues a release Tuesday (Nov 4) to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Lift Bridge for repair work from Tuesday, November 12, to Friday, November 15, during the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One lane will remain open in both directions at all times. There will be no lane reductions during peak hours to minimize disruptions.

The bridge will remain open to cyclists and pedestrians and marine traffic will not be affected during the lane reductions.

The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
