Life-threatening injuries suffered in overnight hit-and-run on Hamilton Mountain

Police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred overnight on the Hamilton Mountain. It left a 42-year-old pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
The collision occurred at 2 a.m. Friday (Apr. 8) on Upper Wentworth across from Lime Ridge Mall.
The vehicle was travelling south and the driver did not remain at the scene.
The roadway was re-opened early Friday afternoon and investigators are appealing to witnesses and for video surveillance.
This is the latest in several incidences of pedestrians being struck by vehicles in Hamilton over the last few weeks.
