Halton Hills is encouraging residents to submit their feedback about the makeover Rennie Street Park in Acton is set to get this summer.

The park is located at 32 Rennie Street in southeast Acton and two preliminary designs have been developed for its makeover.

The designs offer examples of possible layouts and features and residents are being encouraged to take part in the process by completing a preliminary survey.

“You can take part in the design and help us design the park to meet the needs of the local community and promote recreation for all,” the Town of Halton Hills announced earlier this month on Twitter.

The Town also says that the new design will promote active living in a healthy, safe, inclusive and sustainable environment.

Rennie Street Park is a 2-hectare neighbourhood park that offers several recreational services and amenities such as a playground, an intermediate-sized soccer field, open green space, seating and access to Rachlin Trail.

Feedback may be submitted until Feb. 28, 2022. For more information, click here.
