Santa Claus is back in town for the Kerr Village Holiday Festival.

The big guy and Mrs. Claus return to Oakville for the Kerr Village BIA’s 28th annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Market on Saturday (Dec. 3) at Westwood Park.

The holiday festival has continued to grow and expand, similar to the tree planted in front of the park three years ago. This year’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m.

As always, this year’s event features fun activities for kids of all ages. This year’s Holiday Market pop up will begin at noon and run to 7 p.m.

Visitors can catch a performance by the Victoria choir beginning at 3:15 p.m.

Of course a visit from Jolly Old St. Nick always headlines the holiday celebration and you can see Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with some of his elves, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Beginning at 4:15 p.m., market goers can listen to the holiday sounds of Andy G and Friends. The live show will feature three sets with breaks.

Also dropping by will be Holiday Grump, Ballooning Elves and Minion.

There will also be a roaming digital photobooth for all those looking to collect memories of the special holiday celebration.

Westwood Park is located at 173 Kerr St.

Spaces are still available for Holiday Market vendors. If interested, see here.
