Friday could be humid with a high that feels like 35 C and showers in the Greater Toronto Area, and a risk of thunderstorms in southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the morning will bring a mix of sun and clouds with wind gusts up to 40 km/h in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.
The daytime high will be 32 C in Toronto, but could feel more like 35 C due to the humidity.
Friday night is expected to be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance in the early evening, and a 70 per cent chance of showers near midnight. There’s also a risk of thunderstorms overnight in Hamilton and the Niagara Falls area.
Looking ahead to the weekend weather, Saturday is expected to be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers during the day and a chance of scattered thunderstorms. Sunny skies are expected on Sunday with a high of 27 C, but could feel more like 30 C.
