There’s a 40 per cent chance of showers early in the day followed by a risk of thunderstorms, the weather agency says. Wind gusts could reach up to 50 km/h in Mississauga.
Heat warnings and alerts have been issued for much of southern Ontario, with a high of 33 C that could feel more like 42 C due to the humidity possible in Toronto.
The UV index will be a 9 of “very high,” Environment Canada says.
Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with another 40 per cent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms. Wind gusts could again reach up to 50 km/h across the GTA with a low of around 26 C.
