A heat warning has been issued for parts of southern Ontario.
A multi-day heat event starts Monday in parts of southwestern Ontario, including Windsor, Sarnia, Chatham-Kent and Godrich, according to the warning issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Maximum temperatures of 30 to 36 C and minimum temperatures of 21 to 25 C are expected.

Humidex values of 37 to 45 C are expected, starting Monday through to Friday, and possibly into the weekend, the warning states.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature could hit 36 C and feel like 45 C.
The Greater Toronto Area is not part of the heat warning, but temperatures are expected to soar to highs of 29 C to 35 C this week. With the humidity, it will feel like 41 C.
Environment Canada suggests residents take action to protect themselves and others – extreme heat can affect everyone’s health.
Check on older adults, those living alone and other at-risk people in person or on the phone multiple times a day.
Watch for the early signs of heat exhaustion. Signs may include headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine and intense fatigue. Stop activity and drink water. Heat stroke is a medical emergency.
