For the third time, a smash-and-grab style robbery has hit a Mississauga jewelry store.

Video on social media show people dressed in black smashing display cases at Charm Diamond Centres in Erin Mills Town Centre.

Several people entered a jewelry store armed with hammers in the shopping mall at Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga around 5:54 p.m. on Tuesday, Peel Regional Police told INsauga.com. It’s unclear how many people were involved in the robbery.

Several display cases were smashed and property was stolen, police said.

Police said the suspects fled before officers arrived.

There were no reported physical injuries.

This is the third time the store has been hit in the last year. Similar smash-and-grab style robberies were reported on Jan. 19 and on May 9.

The investigation continues into the Feb. 4 robbery and anyone with any information should contact police at 905-453-2121 ext  3410 or Crime Stoppers.
