Jewelry store robbed again in Mississauga mall

A jewelry store was robbed in Mississauga for the second time in a year.

Charm Diamond Centres in Erin Mills Town Centre was hit in a smash-and-grab style robbery on Sunday. The same store was robbed on May 9.

On Sunday, several masked people entered a jewelry store in Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue area at approximately 3 p.m., a Peel Regional Police spokesperson told INsauga.com.

A video on social media shows Charm Diamond Centres being robbed.

The culprits began smashing display cases with hammers and took merchandise, police said.

Police said the suspects fled before officers arrived. Police had no suspect descriptions.

The video shows three people dressed in black hoodies running from the store with bags.

No physical injuries were reported.
