It’s going to feel like 31 C this weekend in Ontario

The weather is about to turn summer-like this weekend in parts of southern Ontario.

Much of southern Ontario experienced cool temperatures and even hail last weekend. But the region is expected to see a 180 change this weekend.

The weather is warming up today (April 23) to a high of 16 C in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton Region, and Durham. It is expected to be slightly cooler in Hamilton with a high of 15 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.

Rain will bring cooler temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday but the weather warms up again heading into the weekend.

The weather really heats up on Sunday.

While Environment Canada is forecasting highs of around 18 C on Saturday and 19 C on Sunday, the Weather Network is predicting highs of 14 C on Saturday and 25 C on Sunday.

But the temperature is expected to feel like a whopping 31 C on Sunday in Mississauga and Brampton, according to the Weather Network.

AccuWeather is forecasting 26 C for Sunday in Mississauga.

It’s expected to feel cooler in Hamilton, Oakville and Burlington with “feel like” temperatures around 25 C to 29 C, according to the Weather Network.

Durham Region will feel like 20 C with a high of 19 C on Sunday.

Temperatures forecasted for Sunday are above normal for this time of year. Normal temperatures should be around 14 C for a high and 3 C for a low at the end of April.
