What a difference a few days can make — after a cold snap this week, the weather is expected to warm up next week in Mississauga, Brampton and Hamilton.

Yesterday’s flurries and bitter winds didn’t seem much like spring.

But it may be time to pull out those spring jackets or even shorts as temperatures are expected to hit 15 C in many parts of southern Ontario next week.

After a bit of a cool weekend and a chance of more flurries on Friday (March 31), Environment Canada is predicting a rise in temperatures up to 11 C starting on Monday.

However, The Weather Network is a bit more optimistic, predicting a balmy 15 C on Monday (April 3) with partly sunny skies.

And although there is rain in the forecast for Wednesday, the Weather Network is predicting temperatures of up to 18 C, feeling like 19 C.

Get ready for summer.
