The first day of spring was March 20 but winter isn’t done with us yet.

Snow is in the forecast for Mississauga, Brampton and most of Ontario this week.

Today (March 29), is starting out mostly sunny but the weather is expected to change this afternoon.

Clouds will move in this afternoon bringing rain showers possibly changing to flurries, which will be heavy at times, according to Environment Canada.

The temperature could get up to 9 C today so the snow likely won’t stick. However, it could dip down to – 7 C tonight and more flurries are in the forecast.

Wind gusts of 50 km/h  to 70 km/h are also forecasted this afternoon.

The chance of flurries continues this week as the temperature drops below zero Thursday and Saturday nights.

Environment Canada is predicting rain or flurries on Thursday, March 30 — and no joke — Saturday, April 1.
