A cooler weekend with sunny skies is forecast in southern Ontario.

The unseasonably warm temperatures experienced last week in the province won’t return this weekend.

Those heading out for evening events in the Greater Toronto Area may want to bring a warm jacket. Temperatures are expected to plunge.

Friday’s high could reach around 12 C with a 30 per cent chance of rain in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington and Oakville, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.

A high of 11 C is forecast in Hamilton, Durham Region and Niagara Region.

A low of around 3 C is expected on Friday evening, but it could feel like -2 C, according to the Weather Network.

Sunny skies are expected Saturday with a high of 12 C and low of 2 C, according to Environment Canada. It could feel like -1 C in the evening.

Sunday is much the same— sunny, clear skies and a high of 12 C and a low of 3 C. Some clouds could move in later in the evening. It could feel like -1 C overnight.
