Investigation continues for a double homicide east of Oshawa

Durham Police are investigating a double homicide case in the town of Bowmanville, and are asking for the public’s help in finding answers.
On Feb. 4, at approximately 2:15 p.m., police responded to a call at a residential home on Crombie Street in Bowmanville.
Police say they were requested to do a well-being check of the two occupants of the home, but after arriving on scene, they located two deceased adults with signs of obvious trauma.
The coroner will begin an autopsy report.
This is Durham Region’s third homicide investigation of 2023.
