Police have reported an industrial accident this afternoon in Brampton.

Officers got a call around 2:48 p.m. that a male worker (48 years old) got his leg trapped under a piece of machinery in the area of Countryside and McVean Drive.

The victim sustained a leg injury and has been taken to a local hospital.

The injury is not life-threatening, thankfully.
