The Burlington Performing Arts Centre is hosting a pair of Family Day activities on Monday, Feb. 20.

Imagination Movers, a rock band for families and the Emmy-winning stars of a hit TV series, will be performing at the main theatre.

In 2022, The Movers celebrate their 20th annivesary, having started when four friends from New Orleans brainstormed a show that would feature quality music and positive male role models, while inspiring teamwork and creativity.

The Movers have appeared on The View, Good Morning America, NPR’s American Routes, Morning Edition and more. The Movers have written more than 250 songs many of which have been featured on commercials and TV shows, including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Wipeout, and The Today Show.

The show is aimed at kids ages 3 to 8 and is set for 4 p.m. Tickets cost $35 or $50 for VIP, which includes a post-show meet and greet, and are available here.https://burlingtonpac.ca/events/imagination-movers/

A second act, Andy Griffiths and Friends performing Our Cat Flash, will be at 2 and 3 p.m. in the BPAC lobby.

Canadian folk rock and roots singer/songwriter Andy Griffiths wants to tell you about a cat named Flash.

“Flash was a wonderful cat with a loving personality and a lot of character,” said Griffiths. “When we brought Flash home as a kitten, he would always run around the house at top speed and often got into trouble.”

Our Cat Flash is a great mix of new original songs and classic kids standards for children ages 1 to 8.

The show is free and you’ll be able to take home Family Day memories with fun, free photobooth pics.
