An iconic treat has returned to A&W restaurants in Canada, but only for a limited time.
A&W said on Monday that its root beer float is back just in time for summer.
“There is something magical about the connection Canadians have with our root beer floats,” said A&W Canada president and CEO Susan Senecal.
“They are woven into the fabric of Canadian summers, from nostalgic road trip pit stops to savouring a float in the frosty mug with the whole family. We’re excited to revive this tradition today, inviting both long-time fans and a new generation to enjoy this timeless treat together.”
A&W said that Canadians can get a root beer float at their local A&W or via the A&W app beginning on Monday.
The company said that it is only back for a limited time, but didn’t specify exactly how long it will be available.
There are more than 1,100 Canadian-owned A&W locations.
