Huge new sales are now being offered at Hudson’s Bay as the chain liquidates the vast majority of its stores.

A promo email from the company said the new sales began Thursday, with prices ranging from 25 to 50 per cent off.

Furniture, luggage and jewelry is 50 per cent off, patio furniture is 40 per cent off, and “almost everything else” is 25 per cent off.

The email notes that all sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges allowed.

It also notes that the store closing sales are only valid at select Hudson’s Bay stores.

INsauga.com visited the Hudson’s Bay location at Lime Ridge Mall in Hamilton Thursday, where products were 25 to 50 per cent off.

Additional discounts of five per cent are set to be added each week, staff at the store said. INsauga.com reached out to Hudson’s Bay to confirm that was the case, but didn’t hear back by the time of publication.

Hudson’s Bay received court permission last month to begin liquidation.

Only six stores are being saved from the liquidation sales, including the flagship on Yonge Street in Toronto, as well as a store in the city’s Yorkdale mall and another farther north in Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill.

The remaining three span Montreal, the Carrefour Laval mall and Point-Claire, Que.
