One man is in hospital with serious injuries after a house fire in Ajax on Thursday morning.
Fire, police and other emergency services were called to Angier Crescent just after 6 a.m. on Thursday, with crews arriving to find smoke coming from the home. Ajax Fire was able to put out the blaze, with one man taken to Ajax-Pickering Hospital.
He remains in hospital with serious injuries.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has launched an investigation into the fire. The premise has been deemed unsafe, delaying an in-depth search.
