House fire destroys garage and 2 vehicles in Oakville

A fire broke out at a house in Oakville on Friday night.

Firefighters battled a blaze near Underwood Crescent and Bridge Road that destroyed an attached garage and two vehicles.

Heavy black smoke rose into the sky and was reportedly visible as far away as Highway 401 and Trafalgar Road in Milton.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage remain unknown.
