Hold off getting gas in Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Halton Hills until Saturday

Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Halton Hills residents may want to put off that trip to the gas station on Friday (July 22).

While gas prices dropped four cents to 1.74 a litre today, those who can put off filling up their vehicle’s gas tank to Saturday should.

Dan McTeague, gas analyst and president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, predicts that prices will fall another six cents tomorrow to 1.68.9 for Oakville and Halton Region.

Despite having Canada’s biggest price drop at eight cents, both Kamloops and Kelowna, will still be the most expensive place in the country to fill up at cost of 1.96.9 per litre.

 

Peterborough will be the cheapest place to find gas in Canada on Saturday with a one cent drop Saturday to 1.67.6. That’s just slightly below Barrie, Cornwall and London where it will cost you 167.9 per litre to fill up after a six cent drop on Saturday.
