Here’s When L.L. Bean is Opening in Oakville

It’s been a few months since it was announced that the popular American retailer L.L. Bean would be opening up a store at Oakville Place.

A previous inhalton article, from March of this year, went into detail about what future customers can expect from the store. However, at the time one crucial detail hadn’t been announced yet.

But now that has changed.

L.L. Bean is holding its grand opening at Oakville Place starting on August 23 at 9:30 a.m. until August 25 at 5 p.m.
And, according to the official Facebook event, all weekend long there will be free yoga, food, games, prizes, and more.
Also, if you are one of the first 100 shoppers in line, you will receive a special offer.
So, what exactly will shoppers find at L.L. Bean?
The retailer specializes in quality outdoor gear and apparel. So, with that being said, inside the Oakville Place store customers will find men’s, women’s, and kid’s apparel, footwear, pet supplies, winter sporting gear, travel gear, camping, hiking, and backpacking gear, and so much more.
As mentioned, this new L.L. Bean location will be setting up shop at Oakville Place (240 Leighland Ave., Unit 165), and will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
This is L.L. Bean’s first Canadian brick-and-mortar store location.
L.L. Bean was first founded by Leon Leonwood Bean more than 100 years ago (107 to be exact). Since then, the company has drastically expanded. There are 41 L.L. Bean locations in the United States, 27 in Japan, and soon there will be one in Canada.
