The calendar is shifting deeper into fall and while October is expected to bring cooler-than-usual temperatures and above-normal rainfall to southern Ontario, November is gearing up to deliver the snowiest periods of the season.

According to the Farmers’ Almanac, the first part of November (Nov. 1 to 10) will feature mostly rain and snow, followed by sunny but cold conditions.
From Nov. 11 to 24, most of southern Ontario can expect a mix of rain and snow with colder air giving way to milder temperatures.
A snowstorm is forecast between Nov. 25 and 27, bringing intense wintry conditions.
To close out the month ( Nov. 28 to 30), meteorologists predict that rain and snow will return to the region, accompanied by milder air.
The Farmers’ Almanac says the average temperature for November will be near 1 C, which is 1 C below normal for this time of year. Precipitation is expected to total 65 mm, about 5 mm below average.
