UPDATE: One person dead in afternoon shooting outside Hamilton Tim Hortons

Police are investigating an afternoon shooting in the parking lot of a Hamilton Tim Hortons.

It resulted in the city’s 13th homicide of 2021 after a male victim died.

The incident occurred at around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 14) and brought a heavy police presence to the intersection of King and Carolina St. The K9 and tactical units were also present.
