Police say a handgun was seized during a recent traffic stop in Milton. 

Halton police say that around 4 am on Oct. 15, 2020, officers allegedly seized a handgun from a vehicle at a park in the James Snow Parkway and Main Street area.

Police say 20-year-old Toronto man Justin Garcia-Reeleder has been charged with a number of firearm-related offences, as well as with assault with intent to resist arrest. 

The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
