Downtown Hamilton just got its new gourmet Indian food restaurant, with flavors inspired by the West and Far East.

Blending historic charm with modern luxury, Chillis and Chimneys, a family-owned eatery located at 105 King St. E.  With its warm ambiance, authentic Indian cuisine, and time-honored recipes, this establishment hopes to capture the true essence of Indian flavors in a welcoming environment.

Upon stepping inside, guests can expect the aromas of coriander, ginger, turmeric, and other carefully blended spices that infuse into their “real” Indian dishes. From a variety of Indian staples like biryani and kebabs to adding an a ‘desi’ twist to Nachos and salads, for those who like to mix things up a little bit.

With locally sourced ingredients from farmers and farms, following the Farm to Table philosophy, the eatery commits to quality that not only ensures the freshness of the ingredients but also helps maintain the consistency of taste in every dish.

TJ, the owner and manager of Chillis and Chimneys, said his  passion for food and cooking stems from his love for travel.

“We want people to feel really comfortable when they come here because we are a family-owned restaurant,” according to the eatery’s website.

For people who like to catch up with collogues after work, the restaurant also boasts a well-stocked bar with an extensive selection of beverages, including a variety of beers, wines, cocktails, flamers, vodkas, and mocktails.

“Our dedication lies in delivering the finest of Indian food, prepared with the freshest ingredients, and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.”
