Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-sign Canadian running back Thomas Erlington

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are bringing back their starting running back.
Canadian Sean Thomas Erlington is back in black and gold, re-signing with the Canadian Football League club that drafted him in the eighth round, 66th overall, in 2017.
The Tiger-Cats announced the signing on Monday.
The 30-year-old suited up in all 18 regular season games and one playoff game for the Tiger-Cats last season, totalling 53 carries for 371 yards and one rushing touchdown. He added 25 receptions for 216 yards and one receiving touchdown.

The 5-foot-9, 217-pound native of Montreal has played 62 games over five seasons in the CFL, totalling 191 carries for 1,170 yards, six rushing touchdowns, 63 receptions for 631 yards, and three receiving touchdowns.
Erlington played 28 games over four seasons collegiately at the University of Montreal (2013-16), recording 253 carries for 1,405 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, helping the Carabins capture the Vanier Cup in 2014.
