Multi-platinum rock group will play halftime show in Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ semi-final at Tim Hortons Field

The halftime show at the CFL Eastern Semi-Final in Hamilton just got a lot bigger.

When the Tiger-Cats host the Montreal Alouettes on Sunday (Nov. 28) at 1 p.m., Canadian rock group, Big Wreck will take the field at the intermission.

Featuring Ian Thornley (vocals, guitar), Dave McMillan (bass), Chris Caddell (guitar), and Sekou Lumumba (drums), Big Wreck had a multi-platinum debut in 1997, with their album In Loving Memory Of…

Less than 3,000 tickets remain for the game.

The popular fan ‘blackout’ is in effect Sunday at Tim Hortons Field, encouraging fans to arrive at the game early wearing black from head to toe. The Ticats players will be wearing their all-black uniforms for the game.

The winner between Hamiton and Montreal will travel to Toronto next weekend to face the Argonauts in the Eastern Final.
