Hamilton retiree plans to celebrate after $50,000 lottery win

A Hamilton man is celebrating after winning thousands in a recent lottery draw.
OLG congratulated Frank Kapolka, 67, for winning $50,000 in the Daily Keno 9 Pick on July 17.
“I was circling the numbers on my ticket and kept matching them. I was excepting to be one number short, but when I checked my ticket using the ticket checker, I was shocked to see $50,000 appear,” Kapolka said.
“Isn’t that something!”
The retiree plans to invest his winnings and celebrate with his wife over fresh oysters and alcohol-free rosé. He’s also considering a road trip.
The winning ticket was purchased at Hasty Market on Glow Avenue in Hamilton.
