Hamilton police probe Flamborough motorcycle crash that killed Burlington man

A 32-year-old Burlington man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Dodge Caravan in Flamborough.
Hamilton police say they are investigating the crash that happened at about 4:40 p.m. on Monday, May 15. The Burlington man was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound and the Dodge Caravan was travelling westbound when they struck each other in front of 374 Concession 5 East in the Flamborough area, according to police.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver of the Dodge was a non-Canadian resident, 37, who remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police did not provide names.
The HPS Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. A stretch of Concession 5 East was closed for several hours for the investigation.

This is the sixth traffic fatality of 2023 and the third involving a motorcycle.
