Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a sexual assault suspect.

According to police, a “stranger sexual assault” occurred last Saturday (May 21) in a shower stall at the Flamboro Valley Camping Resort in Puslinch.

The incident occurred at around 6 p.m. The suspect is described as a white male with an average build. He has long, light-coloured hair and he was wearing a maroon-coloured t-shirt and dark-coloured shorts.

If you have any information that you believe could assist police with the investigation, you are asked to contact Detective Constable Shannon McLean at 905-546-4614.

Hamilton Police want all survivors of sexual violence to know that we believe them and we will respect their choice when and how they report an incident,” issued the service.

“Hamilton Police would like to encourage anyone who believes that they may have been a victim of sexual violence, to come forward and report the incident to police. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences, and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence.”
