UPDATE: Missing Hamilton man with Down syndrome has been located

UPDATE: Hamilton Police said Friday morning (Oct. 22) that Robert Atkinson had been located.

A Hamilton man who has developmental disabilities was reported missing on Thursday afternoon (Aug. 21).
The Hamilton Police Service are requesting the public assistance of the public in locating 38-year-old Robert “Robbie” Atkinson. Robbie was last seen at about 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, leaving his family’s residence located in the Rosedale area on foot. Family and police are concerned for the well-being.
Robbie Atkinson lives with Down syndrome and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). He is non-verbal.
He is described as a white man with light blond hair, who is slimly built at five-foot-four and 135 pounds. He was wearing a green hooded sweater, beige shorts, black-and-grey running shoes, and a green toque with snowflakes
